If I don't get the RA position next year then I'll get to live in the euchlid house. Part of me hopes that I don't get the position and I'll get to live in it with Tom and Stevie and possible one other mysterious(TBD) housemate. I can imagine crazy Friday nights and lazy Saturday mornings all within the confines of a Scandinavian clad home, complete with our own bar and spacious loft. I found specs of the house online and writing this post is all I can do to keep myself from linking Tom and Stevie.

Ever since I told them about the house, they've been extremely excited. Who wouldn't be? Living off campus with your friends. But Stevie has been a bit controlling in the whole affair. I understand that living with other people means you have to compromise, but I can't help feel like Stevie seems to be calling a lot of the shots. I once brought up wanting to throw a party and Stevie right away expressed his distaste for my idea, saying who he was "not down" for it. I'd just like to host a party once, although I doubt it will ever happen since I'd have to provide refreshments and clean up after all the craziness. More likely than not we'll throw a couple of kickbacks or lowkey get-togethers.

Since both Tom and Stevie are within the 50 mile radius, they can use that excuse to live off campus, but the problem will be finding another housemate. Obviously my go to choice would be Reina, but since she's a 2+3 pre-pharm(TT^TT so smart) she's required to live on campus her sophomore. In fact, all sophomores are required to live on campus, unless they have a viable reason that excuses them. So, our housemate would either be an upperclassman, a commuter, or a sophomore with an excuse. I wouldn't mind living with any of the above, the problem is: most upperclassmen, if they choose to live off campus, live with their own friends, commuters live at home, and it is difficult to get approval to live off campus. I suggested doing interviews with prospective housemates, which Tom responded enthusiastically towards, Stevie a little less.

I understand not wanting to live with a stranger, but at this point we don't really have another choice. I'm just hoping an attractive person will come out of nowhere and live with us :3. Of course, thats just me fantasizing again. Imagining life next year at euchlid just gets me so excited for sophomore year; I've already started thinking about the interior design and the backyard decor.

All of this has got me excited for next semester. I'm ready for a clean slate and ready to meet and vibe with new people.

Who we are

A friend of mine, Josh, and I have a joke about a list with all of the reasons as to why I don't have a boyfriend. Which basically consisted of me being random:

1) Makes random noises
2) Makes random faces
3) Bring up random topics

He recently gave me an evaluation of what he thought my romantic future was going to be like.

1) I become a "cold, hearted bitch with a tall ass white boyfriend"(his words)
2) End up with an average guy

Josh is very cynical and is the "prepare for the worst" type of person. To get what I "want" I'll have to change myself. My "type" can be characterized as tall and white. Unfortunately, this type is very common among the general population of females. These guys know that they get girls so they just do whatever they want. They also go for girls who aren't as "weird".

Essentially Josh thinks I'm going to compromise my character to get what I want. I'll tone down the weird and be more bitchy.

I'm going to experiment and see what happens. This is an extremely shitty time to experiment with finals coming up, but I want to see what happens.

So university.

I haven't really updated my blog just because I've been sort of busy with college. Man its kind of crazy, college beats you to the ground and bitch slaps you but its also an amazing experience. I love and hate it simultaneously.

I've met some really awesome people here, Spencer, Tim, Reina, Cheyenne to name a few, and when you spend 90% of your free time with these people it makes you wonder. People always say that college is where you find those life lasting friendships, will these be the people that come to my wedding? Will they become the "aunts" and "uncles" to my children? Spencer told me that his parents met at UOP. Will I find my S.O. here? I've met a couple of cute boys and had a couple of interactions with others which I will catch up on heh heh heh.

The college work load is a lot different than I thought it would be. Grades are all based on tests. 3 midterms and a final and thats it. So if you screw up then its game over, GG, have a nice life. So studying is a huge must(even though I'm lazy af). But as a bioengineering major I know I've got my work cut out for me.

Academia, friendships, and independence are all major components of college, but what would college be without the nightlife. I've been out every single weekend except for this weekend and my birthday weekend back in October. UOP is a very small school, so the nightlife here isn't that lit. I'm just looking forward to when I can visit CG down in SLO because I miss him </3.

This is was a very sporadic post but its just a condensed summary of whats been going on for the past two months.

Weekly Crush //

I am absolutely obsessed with this new snack called Acai (Ah-Sigh-E) Bowls. They're really healthy with granola and an acai blend topped with fresh fruit, nuts, coconut, and honey. The bowl that I had was from a food truck in San Francisco called Bowl'd Acai. I highly recommend trying it if you're ever in the city.

On Valentine's Day Sydney and I watched Fifty Shades of Grey and I really enjoyed it. The casting was well chosen; Jamie Dornan is extremely attractive and Dakota Johnson is so adorable and they both played their roles very well. I have not read the whole book, but I have read snippets and the director didn't make the movie as intense as it could have been. The film was classy and if you're on the fence about going to see it I suggest that you do.

Since its break I've been swimming, hanging with friends, and watching a lot Netflix. All 10 seasons of Friends was recently added to Netflix and thus my queue. Friends is just the epitome of figuring out life with your closest friends. 10/10

I am proud to present a new member to the family, Louis! We got him over winter break and I could not be more excited. Louis is Poodle - Shih Tzu mix and is currently 14 weeks old, but he's still so small. I will touch more on Louis in another post so that I can go more into depth and because he deserves his own post.

Cody played at We Day and I've been a big fan for a while now(no shame ✌) and he recently ended his contract with his record label so now he's an independent artist and his music has gotten even better. He debuted a new song called New Problems and it's currently on replay.

We Day

Wednesday was such an amazing day. Not only did I get to attend a leadership conference I also got to bond with fun people from school. Last year I was actually supposed to attend, but didn't because a teacher implied that I would not be able to make up an assignment that we did in class, which turned out to be a class discussion -_-. Luckily I had a chance to go this year and it was an incredible experience. We heard from motivational speakers and celebrities and witnessed performances from several artists(CODY SIMPSON❤). Another plus was that I didn't have to go to school.

S/O to Trevor for taking pictures

Ignore my derp face

My favorite ❤

Senioritis Part 2 // Spontaneity in SF

Planning is not one of Sandy's strong suits. So I wasn't at all surprised that she messaged me asking if I wanted to head to San Francisco to go to a World Fair an hour before leaving. Since I had time to kill before hanging out with Phineas I figured I'd go ahead and go.

The World Fair was being held at the Palace of Fine Arts and there was a pretty good turn out; there was food, art, and music(kind of like the Art and Wine Festival). The Palace was breathtaking and on top of that the weather was perfect.

Sandy and I got some food and she had gone to SF the day before and got an Acai Bowl from a food truck called Bowl'd Acai and after stalking their instagram she saw that they would be there at the World Fair. It was extremely expensive, but it was SO GOOD.

Sandy's Acai Bowl from the day before

The Acai bowl was $10 which is extremely expensive, but the company is run by two people and is run out of a truck. But all of the ingredients were fresh and the bowl was absolutely delicious. Even though the price was pretty steep I highly recommend trying one if you have the chance.

Unfortunately as we were heading back plans with Phineas fell through because we left SF too late, so I guess we're just going to have to reschedule(I'm probably going to be the one to do the planning). Other than that the day was perfect and I hope to revisit the city soon.

Senioritis // Part 1

Let me just say that senioritis hit me so bad yesterday. My plan for the day was to be somewhat productive. Go dress shopping, come home do some college FAFSA stuff, then go to practice. but my plan went out the window.

What really happened was not exactly that.

In the morning I went to a yoga class with Sandy. Then we had breakfast with Jin and Hannah, after which we went dress shopping. I was feeling extremely discouraged since I didn't find much, especially since dress shopping is extremely difficult and tiring. Saying all this I was exhausted from shopping not to mention the yoga class in the morning.

Sandy convinced me to ditch practice and go to the beach. Giving in to my inner devil I went for it, she drove Jin, Joowon, and me to Sharktooth Cove which is a beach in Davenport.

We even walked to the top of the cliffs and stood on the edge right above the water and the view was insane.

It was pretty legit after Sandy made me watch Jay Alvarez's video the beach trip pretty much was the epitome of freedom and an awesome life. Not to mention once I got home from the beach Phineas finally messaged and asked for my number ^_^, which I was extremely ecstatic about.

Weekly Crush //

Sorry for being MIA for the past couple months of my weekly crushes, I've just been really busy with school and swim and most of my weekly crushes have been over a span of several weeks, not enough to fully complete one post, but heres one that was supposed to go up last week but never made it. Thanks for being patient with me ^_^.
This week was my last week of being a first semester senior. The end of the semester means a lot of things, college apps, swim, and inevitable procrastination. I had four finals this week and on instead of studying for my APES final I ended up on netflix. After trying to watch Gossip Girl yet again I found that I couldn't really get into it like I used to. Probably because I know everything that happens and theres no surprise. I wanted to find a new show to watch; nothing with typical coming-of-age nonsense or shows where everyone is dumb and I feel like I'm going to lose half of my brain cells. I've been an avid Vampire Diaries/Arrow fan for a while and while scrolling through netflix I came across Heroes. A show were a group of people with different abilities, who's lives inevitable cross so that they can save the world. I recently finished the first season and the ending had me in tears. This show is a must see for those who enjoy action, danger, and mystery. Although the first season can be a bit slow, the ending is cleverly crafted. The show started in 2006 and was cancelled in 2010, but has said to be revived in the coming year of 2015.

As I previously mentioned, Heroes has been a show I've been watching and one of the main characters, Peter Petrelli, is played by actor Milo Ventimigilia.  He's been my latest celeb crush and he seems to become better looking as he ages. Milo is most known for his role as Dean from Gilmore Girls and he also happened to have a small part in That's My Boy (2012), a film with none other than Leighton Meester.

For a while now I've had a couple pairs of earring jackets that I never really knew how to wear, but thought they looked cool nonetheless. I really liked them because it gave an edgy, yet classy look incorporated into just a pair of earrings. I've also been a huge fan of earring cuffs and multiples piercings(I wanted to get my second for my birthday but my mom wouldn't let me :c) but just never knew where I could buy them. Recently I stopped by F21 and found these ear pins and I've been rocking them all this week and I can clearly state that I'm in love.

Known for her wooly eyebrows, Cara Delevingne started as Model-to-watch and evolved into Brit-icon. I will admit the first time I saw Cara I was distracted by her eyebrows. But they really work for her. I am obsessed with her; she legitimately has the cool, cute, classic vibe all in one and she also has a rabbit!

Although I have been tv binging on Netflix I've also been catching up on some reading. I really enjoyed Lets Get Lost by Adi Alsaid, which is about a girl that goes on a roadtrip and touches the hearts of the people she meets on her way to finding answers to herself. I also read Peak by Roland Smith, which was about a boy who attempts to be the youngest person to climb Mt. Everest. Both of these books are more in the adventure genre, which I have been craving in books lately. I'm having trouble finding some books so if you have any suggestions leave it the comment box below. I will also be publishing a possible new series called Book Worm so that I can keep inventory of books that I've read. XOXO
