Weekly Crush //

>>one<<

I found this super cute tumblr website, and it makes me really happy when I go through it. Jacqueline, the owner of the site and the illustrator draws so many cute little pictures and animations and they make you feel really happy when you read them. If you're feeling down I suggest you go visit this site.

I haven't really been reading much, which I hate, but I wanted to reread a favorite book of mine. The Overachievers by Alexandra Robbins is an amazing book. It truly displays the struggles that many high school students go through. I felt I could relate to this book, which made it even more personal for me. I highly suggest this book, it's an easy read and very enlightening.

I recently watched a satyrical film on business called Syrup. I have to say, it was a strange film, but it was good. I definitely recommend watching this film if you're interested in business or how that industry works, you'll get a good laugh out of it too.

Aussies >>>>> Brits
OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG. TERESA PALMER, newest celebrity/girl-crush. You guys know that I have new celeb-crushes about every week. Its inevitable, but Teresa is sooooo cute and hilarious and she's an AUSSIE, which makes her likability factor go up by about 100 points. Everyone's into British accents and that cool, but Australian accents are just so much better.

So if you missed the Teen Choice Awards, you missed 2 things: the fail twerking record and Ashton Kutcher's acceptance speech. The twerking record was a complete fail, I honestly don't think that the Teen Choice Awards should have gotten that record, but Ashton Kutcher's little acceptance speech was pretty cool; what he says is very true though. Let's all follow his advice.

2 Seconds under

My first back at swim practice was yesterday, it was actually not as hard as I thought it was going to be; I thought I was going to be completely out of shape, but I was fine. Since my swim situation is all messed up(which you can read about here in "The Hierarchy of Swimming" post) I was unsure about what group I was going to be placed in this year. Obviously I wanted to be in National group. but I was afraid that I would be too slow/not fit the criteria. Any who after talking to my coach, she said that I would be able to swim with National if my attendance would be frequent; of course since my carpool is going to England for a month I had to find another way to Gunderson. Luckily(S/O to Haeden) a friend of mine that swims too said he would be willing to take me. I am actually extremely glad that this opportunity found me when it did.

After practice, the coach of National group, Andre Sillas(an amazing coach & swimmer), wanted to talk to me; he made me do some breaststroke skim drills on land and after he asked me about my breaststroke times. I told him that I had a 1:13, only a couple hundredths of a second away from the CCS. He then told me that I had to be 2 seconds under the CCS by December. A;LDKJFA;LSDKFJ;ALSKDJF;ALSKDJF. THATS LIKE IMPOSSIBLE,but if Andre believes that I can do it, then I better work a hell of a lot harder to reach that goal; I just have to think positive thoughts. Good luck to me.

DMV Troubles

So today I took the DMV permit test(its been a long time coming), waited FOREVER and all the time I was waiting in line, waiting to take my picture, waiting for my mom to sign the papers I was thinking, "I had better pass or I'll have to come back and all of this again". And of course I didn't pass.

Literally my reaction after I found out my score
Now I have to wait a week to retake it. Ok, so don't judge, but there were a lot of driving questions on the the test! I know, I know, its a drivers permit test, but there were a lot of senarios and I didn't understand a lot of them; there are always 2 answers on the question that are trick questions, because either of them sounds like it could be true. So I needed to get 8 or less errors to pass, and of course with my luck I missed 9. But the thing is, my carpool had to take me to the DMV, and my carpool is going to England for 1 month for a wedding so I wont be able to retake it until she gets back or one of my working parents takes me. I just need to get my drivers license ASAP. I need to be able to drive myself to swim practice.

Happy 22nd Dylan!

Dylan was basically the reason why I started watching Teen Wolf. He's the best character in the show and is absolutely hilarious, I love him <3. I love all of his roles in other filmography as well; New Girl, The First Time (2012), Teen Wolf, The Internship (2013) and I cannot wait until Maze Runner comes out in theaters. I am forever waiting on Valentines Day, I don't need no man, just Dylan.

I'm a Cry Baby

It's FRIDAY, FRIDAY, EVERYBODY GETTIN' DOWN ON FRIDAYYYYYY. As you can see, I am very excited that it is Fridayyyyyy. To celebrate the oncoming weekend I decided to watch some movies. The first movie I watched was Struck by Lightning.
Chris Colfer is an amazing producer and writer, his movie was fantastic. I don't think I've cried so much in one movie alone. The main character, Carson's, life is sad and wonderful. The movie displays a lot of the sad moments in life, but reminds all of us that we can make all make an impression on people that we meet. I think that this should be a lesson to all of us, we should all be kind and help each other to learn more and to better ourselves; I know this sounds so cheesy, but I think it's true. So starting now I will try(notice I said try) to be kinder to people and not want to rip people's heads off. This is a must watch if you fell like your life has come to a stall.

The second movie I watched was The Perks of Being a Wallflower.
Although this movie was a little sad, it was an eye opening movie for me. Emma Watson was adorable and so was Logan. Ezra Miller is also a fantastic actor in this film, the characters were all different and it showed all of the problems that can happen in our life. The movie setting took place during the 90s, I loved how they used tapes in the movie. This movie made me cry a lot as well. Every actor in this movie was wonderful at acting and made me truly feel emotional and all of their issues. I truly believe that everybody should watch this film

H&M Wishlist

I like making lists. Its what I do. And I thought, what better list to make than a list of clothes? H&M recently upgraded their website so that customers(such as myself ^_^) can buy apparel online. As I was browsing through, a couple pieces caught my eye and I thought "why not make a list?", so I did.

Weekly Crush //

>>one<<

So I started watching this reality teen webcast thing on Youtube. It's weird, kind of stupid, but you want to know what happens so you keep watching it. LOL. Anywho, on their Twitter account they posted this photo and I thought it was hilarious, because that is literally my reaction to junk food. YOLO.

This outfit is incredibly adorable. I love the colorful striped pattern on the top and the pink sunhat on the girl's head. The floral shorts complete the look with a innocent and springtime feel. I love the way that this outfit was put together.

Everyone is into pineapples and I'm like pineapples are cool I guess, but then I saw this print I loved it! Pomegranates have got to be one my favorite fruits. <3

>>four<<

To be honest, I really like this. Carpe Diem is seize the day, but Carpe Librum is seize the book. Sometimes I have cravings and I really want to read; I want to go to an old used book shop and buy tons of interesting books and just read them all day.

>>five<<

Logan Lerman <3. Enough said. I really want to go see the new Percy Jackson movie, even though i heard it was worse than the first movie. But I'm going to support Logan <3.

First Day

A;SLDKFJA;LSDKFJA;LSDKFJA;LSKDJF. That basically describes my 3 days of school. Wednesday was my first day of school and I'm already tired; emotionally and physically. And swim hasn't even started yet! I feel like I'm already falling into the deep hole of Junior year. So here's my class schedule:

1st Period:  English 5/6 Honors
2nd Period: US History
3rd Period:  AP Calculus AB
4th Period: Physics Honors
5th Period: AP Spanish

So, I'm only taking 5 classes as a Junior; I thought that this would make me look lazy to colleges and when I went to talk to the schedule director and the principal they both told me that nothing was available. Luckily I'm not the only Junior with 5 classes. I have to say, it is quite nice getting to leave a period early while other people are scurrying to their next class. >:D  Unfortunately, I don't even have my permit yet so not having a 6th period is basically useless. TT^TT But whatevssss G(Mychonny). So I haven't been able to write as much since school started and some of the Weekly Crushes will be missing(Sorry guys!) and I feel bad because I really want to do more with my blog. I'm thinking about starting a fashion section to my blog. I know I already thought about doing that, but I got lazy hehehehe. Anywhooooo you can look forward to the fashion section, missing Weekly Crushes, and my boring daily life.

Kisses!

P.S. If one of those people that are usually too lazy to read up my whole speil, just follow my on Twitter and you can read on how I'm feeling in up to 160 characters.

I've been really into glitter nail polish lately. I didn't think I would be a big fan of glitter until I tried it out on my own nails. These nails also remind of mermaid scales. ^_^

I recently got rid of my digital clock because I never really used it. I would actually cover it at night so the light from the clock wouldn't keep me awake. I got rid of it altogether, because it was just collecting dust on my desk.

>>three<<

I saw this on Pinterest and just thought it was pretty cool.

I love how Gossip Girl has become part of American culture and I love how Blair and Serena's friendship has become an icon of good friendship. They represent the ups and downs friends go through, but always end up staying loyal to each other.

Mail is such an interesting concept. I mean, who actually thought of the idea of sending messages to other people. Post is so amazing. I sent a bunch of letters to companies regarding the benefit dinner for Change for Cambodia and I felt really happy doing it. I think I'm going to send some more letters soon, not for any occasion, just to let people know that I still care.

So I was browsing through a couple of different blogs and while I was at this certain blog, I came across this song. Of course I listened to it and thought it was really cute and pop-y. Betty Who is an Australian artist and you can here bits of her accent in the song, which makes it 10x cuter.

This song has been on replay for about a week. Love it.

Weekly Crush //

So I am starting these new weekly crush things inspired by another really cute blog.

>>one<<

This cute picture reminds of those shorts that are made with pictures, kind of like Wallace & Grommet.

>>two<<

Ever since I started watching Gossip Girl, I have fallen in love with New York. Even though I have never been there before, I feel like I've seen the highlights and the beauty of it all. This quote ties in with my life.

>>three<<

Emma Watson is awesome. I personally feel it is really difficult to distinguish what you like yourself. Society is constantly influencing us and makes us feel the need to like the things that everyone else likes. Being original is so rare nowadays and I have trouble with finding myself too(not to sound cheesy).

>>four<<

I recently discovered a new song called French Kisses by Ruby Summer, while watching a YouTube video. It's soft yet fun, this song has been stuck in my head all day.

>>five<<

Brittany Snow is my new celebrity crush, she is so down-to-earth and cute(if its possible for someone twice my age to be cute). I was watching some Pitch Perfect outtakes, when I came along an interview featuring Anna Kendrick and Brittany Snow. Both ladies are so lovely and they're never in tabloid magazines or bombarded with paparazzi.
